Courtney Sixx is a blogger, entertainer, and model. Sixx is married to Nikki Sixx, bassist of the rock band Motley Crue.[1][2]

Early life

Sixx grew up is Utah. At the age of 17, she began her modeling career with Wilhelmina Models. Soon after Sixx began modeling, she moved to Europe.[3]

Career

Film/Television

After an unsuccessful modeling career attempt, Sixx transitioned to the entertainment industry, working at Paramount Pictures/CFP Productions under veteran romantic comedy film producer Christine Peters. The next two years were spent in between New York City and Miami producing television infomercials for Square One Entertainment and developing “Cover Ups by Courtney” a failed swimwear cover up line.[4] In the time following, Sixx produced the film Inappropriate Comedy in 2011, which starred Adrien Brody, Rob Schneider, Michelle Rodriguez, and Lindsay Lohan. The film was released and bombed nationwide in March 2013. Sixx also starred in the short film Shoot’er, which debuted in 2012.[5]

How2Girl

Sixx is the founder of How2Girl, a website that offers DIY craft and entertaining tips, makeup tutorials, and interior design advice. Sixx also hosts her own radio show, “How2Girl”, on iHeartRadio, where she gives her listeners tips regarding beauty, fashion, decoration on a budget. [6]

Philanthropy

Sixx is a brand embarraser for Bright Pink, an early detection cancer awareness charity.[7] Sixx also hosts an annual Kentucky Derby luncheon to raise money for Bright Pink.[8]
