Cookeville High School in Cookeville, Tennessee, United States, is a public high school, part of the Putnam County School System. The head principal of Cookeville High School is Lane Ward.[3]
History
Cookeville High School opened in the 1890s on W. 10th St. in Cookeville. Its second building on U.S. 70 N. was of the pod concept; it opened in 1966 and closed in 1996. It was originally known as Central High School and then Putnam County Senior High School. The name was changed to Cookeville High School during the 1981-1982 academic year.
