Ecklonia kurome (Japanese : 黒布, kurome) is a brown alga species in the genus Ecklonia found in the Sea of Japan.

The phlorotannins eckol,[1] phlorofucofuroeckol A[2] and 8,8'-bieckol[3] can be found in Ecklonia kurome.
