ConsumerAffairs is a for-profit consumer advocacy organization based in the American city of Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
Criticism
In 2014, ConsumerAffairs was harshly critiqued by Truth in Advertising for providing glowing reviews to "accredited" companies, i.e., those that had paid it a fee, while negatively rating all those that had not.[2]
