Constitution Club of India is club started for members of Indian Constituent Assembly. In present days the Constitution Club acts as a platform for interaction amongst the Past & Present members of Parliament.
History
The club was established as an informal group in year 1947 housed at Curzon Road. It was formally inaugurated by Sh. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, philosopher & academician President on Feb, 1965 at the present location of Vithal Bhai Patel House.[1]
Recent Times
The club in partnership with PRS Legislative Research (PRS) runs and organizes various programs to assist members of parliament.
In November 2012 Aam Aadmi Party was founded at this place by social activist Arvind Kejriwal.[2]
