Conception Island, Bahamas
Not to be confused with Conception Island, Seychelles.
Conception Island is an islet located in the Bahamas. It is 2,100 acres (8.5 km2) and uninhabited. It is an important rookery for nesting seabirds and hatching site for green turtles.
It is uninhabited and protected as a Bahamas National Land and Sea Park. It is sanctuary to an enormous variety of birds, fish, turtles and coral.
