Comrades is an American Christian punk, Christian rock, Christian hardcore and Christian metal band, where they primarily play emo, indie rock, metalcore, post-hardcore, post-metal, post-rock, punk rock, and screamo styles of music. They come from Richmond, Virginia. The band started making music in 2008. The band released a studio album, Safekeeper, in 2014, with Blood and Ink Records.

Background

Comrades is a Christian punk, Christian rock and Christian hardcore band from Richmond, Virginia.[1][2] Their members are husband and wife, Joe, a guitarist, and Laura McElroy, a vocalist and bassist, and band member background vocalist and drummer, Ben Trussell.[1][2]

Music history

The band commenced as a musical entity in February 2008, with their first release, Safekeeper, a studio album, that was released on May 6, 2014, from Blood and Ink Records.[2][3][4][5]
