The Communist Party (Serbian: Комунистичка партија / Komunistička partija, KP) is an extra-parliamentary opposition political party in Serbia. It was established at the founding congress in Belgrade, 28 November 2010, uniting 2 smaller communist organizations NKPS & The Social-Democrats of Novi Sad.
Its president is Josip Broz Joška, grandson of the former president of Yugoslavia and SKJ Josip Broz Tito, the Secretary General is Nataša Radulović.
Organisation
At the head of the party is the President, and the next in the hierarchy is the General Secretary, party runs Central Committee. The party is split on committees, a committee makes a minimum of 5 members, committees, secretaries manage Commitet Secretary. There is a youth organization within the party, named Communist Youth of Serbia. Member can be every adult citizen.
Elections
The Communist Party competed in the 2013, parliamentary elections in Serbia independently, receiving 28,977 votes or 0.74% of the popular vote, failing to enter parliament.
