Cogorno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) southeast of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,316 and an area of 9.1 square kilometres (3.5 sq mi).[1]
