Digest of Laws of the Russian Empire
The Digest of Laws of the Russian Empire (Russian: Свод законов Российской империи, pre-1917 Russian: Сводъ законовъ Россiйской имперiи) was the code of penal and civil law in the Russian Empire since 1 January 1835.
It based on the Complete Collection of Laws of the Russian Empire (Russian: Полное собрание законов Российской империи, pre-1917 Russian: Полноѣ собрание законовъ Россiйской имперiи) composed of 46 volumes. It was code of law since the Sobornoye Ulozheniye to death of Alexander I.
