The cloud-forest pygmy owl (Glaucidium nubicola) is a species of owl in the family Strigidae. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador. There are only an estimated 2,500-9,999 birds left. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. The species has a distinctive call.
