Clifford Couser (born May 18, 1971) is a heavyweight boxer. Nicknamed "The Black Bull" and often "Twin Tyson" for his resemblance to Mike Tyson, Couser fought several contenders from his era. Couser has also claimed a numerous times to be the half brother of Mike Tyson.

Professional career

Couser turned pro in 1993 and has been beaten by Clifford Etienne, Lance Whitaker, Malcolm Tann, Vladimir Virchis and Michael Moorer.

He has beaten a few notable fighters, such as James Tillis, Jorge Luis Gonzalez and Monte Barrett.

Cliff was slated box in England for the first time on November 27, 2009 against Dave Clarke in a European Boxing Federation show. The fight was to have taken place in Yeovil, Somerset. However, it never materialised.

He was supposed to fight against Mike "White Tiger" English but was replaced by Dave Clarke but the bout never materialized.

Couser has gone 0-9 in his last eight fights with the losses coming to Solomon Haumono, Cedric Boswell, Chris Arreola, Tony Thompson, John Hopoate, Monte Barrett, Travis Kauffman and Johnnie White.

Despite his now mediocre record, Couser is a respectable and dangerous veteran, often known for his big left hooks and a technically sound fighting style.

He has won the Utah State Heavyweight title and also the North American Heavyweight titles.

Recent

Couser has lost his past 9 fights, which can be questionable, as many of those fights he showed no passion and was seemingly choosing a comfortable spot on the canvas to lie on. His career peak was 25-10, until he lost to former light Heavyweight and Heavyweight champion Michael Moorer and went 1-11 after that.

Outside the Ring

Couser played Mike Tyson in the HBO film, Don King: Only in America. Also, he has a son by the name of Sky Christopher King, who resides in Rosedale, Mississippi, and a daughter by the name of Shae Moore, who lives in Las Vegas.
