Clarence Kparghai (born May 13, 1985 in Monrovia, Liberia) is a Swiss-Liberian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing with HC Lugano in the National League A (NLA).[1]

During the 2012–13 season, while playing with EHC Biel against SC Bern on December 22, 2012, Kparghai bit an NHL player John Tavares who was playing in the Swiss league during the 2012–13 NHL lockout. The assault led to a $975 fine for Kparghai.[2]
