Clare-Hope Naa K. Ashitey (born 12 February 1987)[1] is a British actress of Ghanaian descent. She attended the Centre Stage School of Performing Arts, Southgate.[2] while being educated at the Latymer School,[3] which is located in the Edmonton area of London, for seven years.
She took a gap year between school and university to work on the film Children of Men.[3]
Ashitey graduated in anthropology from the School of Oriental and African Studies in 2009.[4]
Personal life
Ashitey was born in Enfield[1] to Tina, a medical secretary, and Paul, a dentist, who are both from Ghana, and has an older sister who studied at the University of Warwick and an older brother.[5]
