Chvalšiny (German Kalsching) is a village and municipality (obec) in Český Krumlov District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 27.96 square kilometres (10.80 sq mi), and has a population of 1,199 (as at 2 October 2006).
Chvalšiny lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north-west of Český Krumlov, 24 km (15 mi) south-west of České Budějovice, and 137 km (85 mi) south of Prague.
