Chrysococcyx is a genus of cuckoo in the Cuculidae family. The scientific name Chrysococcyx is Greek for gold cuckoo (χρυσός,κούκος)[1] Some authorities split the principally Australo-Papuan taxa into the genus Chalcites.[2]
