Christopher John Pickup

Colonel Christopher John Pickup, LVO OBE is a retired British Army officer.

Educated at Abingdon School he served in the British Army from 1960-1994 mainly as a helicopter pilot with the Army Air Corps. In 1984 he was awarded the Order of the British Empire OBE [1] He became Chief of Staff Headquarters Army Air Corps, a position which he relinquished in 1992. [2] From 1996-2007 he was secretary of the Royal Warrant Association.[3] In 2007 he was awarded the Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order (LVO) in the 2007 New Year Honours.
