Christine Ortiz

This article is not about the Brazilian pianist Cristina Ortiz.

Christine Ortiz is the dean of graduate education at MIT, and a professor in the materials science department. The goal of her research program is a mechanistic-based understanding of tissue function, quality, and pathology. She is planning to create a new university, centered around project-based learning.[1]
