Michel Christiaan Minella (born July 5, 1985) is an American professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.
Minella attended Peters Township High School in McMurray, Pennsylvania, and played his college hockey at Notre Dame.[1]
After playing almost three seasons in the ECHL with the Wheeling Nailers, on February 22, 2013, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL signed Minella to a professional tryout agreement.[2] Minella went on to skate in eight regular season and six postseason games for the AHL team, and was rewarded for his steady play when he was re-signed by the Penguins for the 2013–14 AHL season.[3]
