Chris Brown and Kate Fenner are a Canadian folk rock duo, consisting of singer-songwriters Chris Brown and Kate Fenner.
History
Brown and Fenner were founding members of the Canadian alternative rock group Bourbon Tabernacle Choir in the 1980s. When that band broke up following the 1995 album Shy Folk, Brown and Fenner moved to New York City and continued writing and performing as a duo. They have released six albums to date as a duo, and both members have released solo material as well.
In early 2003, they wrote and recorded the song "Resist War" and made it available for free via the internet at www.resistwar.com. An alternate version of the song appears on their 2004 EP Go On.
