Chris Britt
Chris Britt Is a nationally syndicated editorial cartoonist. His work is distributed by Creators News Service to over 200 clients. He is also a Children's book author. His first book will be released in 2013. He was honored with the Sigma Delta Chi Award in 2009. One of journalism's most prestigious awards. He has also won many other awards for his cartoons.
Britt has a Visual Arts degree from the University of Illinois. Chris has created/produced and directed multiple political animation shorts which have been featured on MSNBC. He is one of the most reprinted cartoonists in the country.
On January 26, 2012 Britt was fired by his former paper, The State Journal-Register.[1] He was the most high profile staffer in the newsroom. The paper(owned by GateHouse Media) has fired over 60 people in their quest to rile up the locals.
