Chocholík[1] is a hill in highlands of Hanušovická vrchovina. Its height is 548 meters above sea level.

Etymology

The name consists of two parts. A noun “Chochol-" means “a crest” A sufix „-ík“ means „little“. Therefore the meaning is „little crest“.

Geography

The top is reachable by tourist path. Bludov, Hrad Bludov, Bludoveček and Zámeček are situated in its hillside. Deposits of granodiorite and special kind of wollastonite, the bludovit, are mined.
