The Cave Splayfoot Salamander (Chiropterotriton mosaueri) is a species of salamander in the family Plethodontidae. It is endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitat is caves. It is threatened by habitat loss.
In 2010, this species was observed for the first time since its 1941 description.[1]
