HXD1D-1898, the locomotive named after Zhou Enlai, at Shanghai Railway Station.

The HXD1D(和谐电1D型电力机车) is a high speed electric locomotive developed by CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd in association with the Chinese Ministry of Railways Science and Technology Development department (铁道部科技司). The design was revealed in 2012 - it is a 7.2 MW power six axle, 126-tonne, Co'Co' locomotive with a top speed of 160 km/h (99 mph). It is capable of accelerating a 3000-passenger, 20-carriage train to 160 km/h within 5 minutes.[4]
