"Cheyenne" is a song by American recording artist Jason Derulo, released as the second single for his fourth studio album, Everything Is 4 (2015). The song was written by Cade Blanco, Jason Derulo, Ian Kirkpatrick, Sam Martin, Lindy Robbins, Jason Evigan, Marcus Lomax, Stefan Johnson and Jordan Johnson, while the song's production was handled by The Monsters and the Strangerz and Kirkpatrick.[1]

Music video

The song's accompanying music video was directed by Syndrome.[1] The video begins in a mansion where Derulo is seen waking up tied to a chair as Cheyenne inches closer to him and which Derulo falls through to a bed where 2 hands grabbed him as Cheyenne starts a frightening sex with Derulo. Then, Derulo ends up in the table as a demon version of Derulo is seen sitting in front of him while Cheyenne kisses him leading to where Derulo lifts the table. Down in the lower levels, Cheyenne is seen up in the upper region and which she and Derulo met and which the floor collapses and which Cheyenne walks away while Derulo jumps over it and looks for her and ends up in the bedroom. Scenes of Derulo can be seen where he is wearing a purple suit and a hat while zombified princess dancers are seen surrounding him where they break into an elaborate dance and where Derulo brings pictures of Cheyenne up and which the pictures are set on fire. The video ends with Derulo on the chair looking at the burned photograph as it ends with a few images of Cheyenne's dark eye. Derulo describes the character Cheyenne as a "woman in a red dress [that] haunts" him, as seen in the video.[2][3]
