Chet Morgan

Chester Collins Morgan (June 6, 1910 – September 20, 1991), nicknamed "Chick," was a Major League Baseball player for the Detroit Tigers in 1935 (14 games) and 1938 (74 games). He was the starting center fielder for the Tigers in 1938. He played in 88 games for the Tigers in his career and had a batting average of .277 with a .330 on-base percentage. Chick Morgan was born in Cleveland, Mississippi, and died in Pasadena, Texas.
