Cheltenham Saracens F.C. are a football club based in Cheltenham, England. They joined the Hellenic League Division One in 1986. Currently they are members of the Hellenic Football League Premier Division. The club is affiliated to the Gloucestershire County FA.
History
Cheltenham Saracens were formed in 1964 as part of a larger multi-sport organisation which also fields teams in other sports including rugby and cricket. The football team initially joined the Cheltenham League, originally in Division Five, and progressed through the divisions until they joined the Hellenic League in 1986. In 1999–2000 they were champions of Division One but were only able to manage two seasons in the Premier Division before being relegated back to Division One West, where they remained until they won promotion back to the Premier Division in 2011.
