"Che ti dice la Patria?" is a short story by American author Ernest Hemingway set in Italy.
The story is about a journey near Savona during Mussolini's time in power. Originally entitled Italy – 1927, it records a journey marked by "ten days of disappointing weather, unpleasant interactions with the locals, and bad food". It is Hemingway's "scathing attack on Fascism".[1] Under the new title, the story was later included in the collection Men Without Women (1927).
