Charlotte Colbert
Charlotte Colbert is an artist and filmmaker based in London.
Life
Charlotte Colbert is married to Scottish designer Philip Colbert of The Rodnik Band.

Charlotte Colbert has been described as “A truly original visual storyteller her images are hauntingly evocative”[1] by Laura Bailey in Vogue.
Her 2013 show at Gazelli Art House[2] titled A Day At Home was nominated 'exhibition of the month' by Black and White Photography Magazine[3] and described in the Huffington Post as "surreal and delicate"[4] and "a gateway into dreams"[5]
Her work has been shown at International Art Fairs including in 2014 Istanbul Art Fair and Art Basel Hong Kong and in 2015 at "Photo London"[6] in Somerset House.
In 2014 she was commissioned to do a public display on Piccadilly for the occasion of Frieze Art fair. The series, entitled "In and Out Of Space"[7] rendered affectionate to Stanley Kubrick for the fifteenth anniversary of his death.
Film
Colbert did an MA in screenwriting at the London Film School.[8]
In 2013 she collaborated with Charlie Fink from Noah and the Whale and co-wrote his short film Heart of Nowhere which was produced by Parkville Pictures and Universal Records.[9]
Colbert also co-wrote feature film Leave to Remain, which features a score by Alt-J and Toby Jones as the lead. The film premiered in 2013 at the BFI Film Festival[10] and won Best Youth Film at "Buff Film festival"[11] and best debut feature at "Zlin Film Festival".[12]
In 2009 she wrote and directed "The Girl With Liquid Eyes"[13] a short film featuring the voice of Maryam d'Abo and in 2011 followed up with a short sequel film, "The Man With The Stolen Heart"[14] with Bill Nighy as the narrator.
Publishing
Colbert was one of the editors of The Artists’ Coloring Book of ABCs[15] which features works by leading artists such as Grayson Perry, Tracy Emin and Marc Quinn
