Charlie Grice

Charlie Grice (born 7 November 1993), is a British middle distance athlete.

His first major competition was the 2010 Youth Olympic Games 1000m. He came third, therefore earning a bronze medal. [1] In 2011, he participated in the European Junior Championships 1500m and finished in 10th place, after coming 5th in his heat. In 2012, he participated in the World Junior Championships and came 4th in a very slow heat, so failed to make it through as a 'fastest loser'. In 2013, he made his senior breakthrough, coming second in the European Athletics U23 Championships 1500m. He also came second in the European Athletics Team Championships, his first senior vest for Britain. In 2014, he participated in the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and came in 7th place, after comfortably qualifying from his heat in 2nd place. He then came 12th in the European Championships, despite having come 2nd in his heat. The reason for this was an injury. He also came 5th in the European Athletics Team Championships.[2]
