Charaxes hadrianus, Hadrian’s White Charaxes, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, south-western Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, the Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo and western Uganda.[2] The habitat consists of wet primary forests.
The larvae feed on Ouratea reticulata and Ochna species.
Taxonomy
Charaxes hadrianus is the sole member of the Charaxes hadrianus group.
