Chamari Atapattu (born 9 February 1990) is a Sri Lankan cricketer and the current vice-captain of Women's team for Sri Lanka. She had a short career as the captain of Sri Lanka women team, and is taken by former captain Shashikala Siriwardene again. She is known for aggressive batting in the opening spells. In the 2013 Women World Cup, Atapattu hit a quick fifty against England women, where the Sri Lanka Women won the match. Under her capataincy, Sri Lanka Women won T20I tournament against Pakistan ladies.[1][2]
