Chala Hawa Yeu Dya is an Indian television comedy show originally aired on Zee Marathi.[1] It is hosted by Nilesh Sable and the recurring performers include Bhalchandra (Bhau) Kadam, Kushal Badrike, Sagar Karande, Shreya Bugade, Vinit Bonde and Bharat Ganeshpure. Most episodes feature celebrity guests from Marathi film and theatre industry who appear to promote their latest films and plays.[1]

The show debuted on 18 August 2014 and the 100th episode of the show aired on 28 July 2015.[2]

Chala Hawa Yeu Dya - Maharashtra Daura: Chala Hawa Yeu Dya goes on Maharashtra tour from December 09, 2015 as a journey to various cities of Maharashtra with entire unit of CHYD (acronym for Chala Hawa Yeu Dya). The intention behind this Maharashtra tour is to get a live reaction from it viewers. Dr Nilesh Sable is the anchor of show, while talented lot including Bharat Ganeshpure, Shreya Bugde, Kushal Badrike, Vinit Bhonde, and Bhau Kadam tickle the funny bones of the audience. This outing has started from December 09, 2015 at Aadya Krantiveer Balavanta Vasudev Phadke theatre, Panvel. [3]

Concept

The program includes farcical comedy by its recurring cast, celebrity conversations, music and dance. The recurring cast of the play performs the comedy acts in between the celebrity conversations.

Chala Hawa Yeu Dya - Maharashtra Daura: Chala Hawa Yeu Dya is about one crazy family consisting of an ensemble cast of Nilesh Sable, Kushal Badrike, Sagar Karande, Bhau Kadam, Bharat Ganeshpure, Vinit Bonde and Shreya Bugade who has replaced Mansi Naik. The show also brings in guests in the form of celebrities across various films and theatre. The ensuing drama with the house members and the characters presents the focal point of the show. Watch this laughter riot with the badshahs of comedy every Mon - Tue at 21:30 hrs.[1]

Segments

Satkar: The show happens in an imaginary cafe named Chala Hawa Yeu Dya in a village called Thukratwaadi. Bharat Ganeshpure, acting as the Sarpanch (Marathi for village-chief), welcomes the celebrity guests to the village. This welcome speech includes sarcastic jokes and generally by creating a pun out of the names of the celebrity guests.
Khatla: In this segment a celebrity guest is made an accused and he/she is tried in the court. The judge is played by Bharat Ganeshpure. Vinit Bonde plays the role of constable who brings in the celebrity to the court room for prosecution. Sagar Karande plays the public prosecutor and in this role he mimics Rajat Sharma who also plays the role of a public prosecutor in another Indian television show named Aap Ki Adaalat that is aired on India TV.

Postman Kaka: In this Segment Sagar Karande is in the role of Postman & he reads very hard filling and touching letter form different kind of person.

Cast

Nilesh Sable as Nilesh Sable himself- He is the owner of the cafe where the show happens.They say laughter is the best medicine and one such doctor who has made this is a habit is Dr. Nilesh Sable. A find of the reality show 'Maharashtracha Superstar', Nilesh has been synonymous with Fu Bai Fu. Not just a popular actor, Nilesh is himself a great stand up and writer known for his brilliant comic timing.

Bhalchandra Kadam as Pappa- Nilesh's father. He has a weak memory. Mostly confuses with people's name. The fun begins when he tries to find his late wife in every other woman he meets.He portrays many different characters in the farcical skits performed on the show.
[5] Kushal Badrike - Nilesh's twin brother. He is a big movie buff and obsessed with pursuing acting as a career. He uses his mimicry prowess to impress the celebrities.As son of bhalachandra kadam and represents various characters in the different performances on the show.
Shreya Bugade - Sarpanch's daughter - a typical village girl. She is a close friend of Kushal's and always barges in between with the hope of finding her Prince Charming.Also different characters including a high-school teacher and Bharat Ganeshpure's wife.
[6] Bharat Ganeshpure - Being 'Sarpanch' of the village he has allocated space to Nilesh to conduct the show. The hidden intention of his generosity is to find the groom for his only daughter Shreya Bugade and being The chief of the imaginary Thukratwaadi village where the show happens, the judge in the celebrity trial and husband of Shreya Bugade in different acts.
[7] Sagar Karande - An overdramatic lavani queen and the public prosecutor in the celebrity trials. Postman Kaka, Puneri Kaku is also very famous.

Vinit Bonde - Plays various characters, sometimes as son of sarpanch, constable in khatla. [8]
