Central Square, Ballarat
Central Square, Ballarat is a shopping centre in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia.
Design
The centre was built in 1988 next door to a Myer store, and it was only later on that the centre was connected to Myer. The four-level Myer store only connects with the centre on the 1st level. Myer celebrated 100 years in Ballarat in 2005.
There is also a large Target store on the 2nd level. Alongside these two major stores, there are 40 specialty stores and a Rivers superstore. The centre also originally had a BiLo supermarket, although this later closed. The centre has been upgraded a number of times over the years.
