Catherine Namono
Catherine Namono is Uganda’s first female archaeologist who has earned a PhD. Her parents were Martin Wambwa and Joyce Apaku. Namono attended elementary school in Mbale, and Trinity College Nabbingo. She received a Bachelor's degree in art history from Makerere University.[1] She specializes in rock art research, particularly the rock art of Uganda.[2]
