Catherine Duchemin

Catherine Duchemin (12 November 1630 21 September 1698) was a French flower and fruit painter. She was born and died in Paris. She married, in 1657, the sculptor Girardon, and in 1663 was received into the Academy, being the first lady on whom this honour had been conferred.
