Cathedral Academy (formerly Catheral School) is an 11-16 voluntary controlled Church of England secondary school with academy status. The school has places for 1050 students, and there are currently 997 pupils on the school roll.[1] The school is a Specialist Performing Arts College, with a national reputation for excellence, and houses a Post 16 Performing Arts Academy (CAPA) with 60 student places. The school holds the Artsmark gold award.

Ofsted

The school was judged by Ofsted in March 2010 to be "a good school with outstanding features".[2]

The school is Wakefield's only Church of England secondary school and was judged at SIAS inspection to be "outstanding".[3]

Bells

Locations of Bells in this School are Found in these Places: First, you can Figure Out Red, Medium Pitched Bells that are found in places like near the Entrance of the Assembly hall, Where some of the tables are in the Dinner Hall, another is seen near the Corridor to G2-9 and G6a. Also, near G12 and G13, another of these Bells are seen, but it does a lower pitch than others. Then upstairs, another red med pitch bell is seen near The ILC and F1. another is seen Near F10 and F11 that also has a lower pitch like The one Seen Near G12-13.
