Catephia alchymista, the White Underwing, is a species of moth in the Erebidae family. The species is found in Southern and Central Europe up to the Caucasus.[1]
The wingspan is 35–45 millimetres (1.4–1.8 in). The moths are on wing from May to July and sometimes again in August/September.
The larvae feed on Quercus species.
