Castelmassa is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rovigo in the Italian region Veneto, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Venice and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) west of Rovigo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,342 and an area of 11.9 square kilometres (4.6 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Castelmassa contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ca'Rossa, Case Gennari, Case Negri, Case Zaghi, Correggio, Cortina, Fantini, Gravallone, Guerrini, Macero Frati, Masina, Olma, Piazza Nova, Pio, Saravalli, and Via di Mezzo.
