Cason Cooley
Cason Jay Cooley (born November 28, 1978, in Akron, Ohio, United States) is an American producer, engineer, musician, composer, and songwriter. Cooley grew up in Wichita, Kansas. He often traveled the country, singing with his parents who were a part of the Grammy award winning Southern Gospel group, The Cathedral Quartet. In 1997, Cooley moved to Nashville TN, were he became a member of The Normals in 1998. He toured with the band from 1998 until 2002, when the band broke up. Cooley is most recognized for his work as a songwriter and producer and has produced albums including Ingrid Michaelson’s “Lights Out, ” and Ben Rector’s “Brand New”.
