"Carved Inside" is a Soulfly song, released through Roadrunner Records from the fifth studio album Dark Ages on September 25, 2005. This song contains an old school thrashy tune performed by four-stringed guitar, and harmonic vocals,[1] including the use of didgeridoo. The song lyrics is about finding a soul by feeling it inside.[2]
The music video for "Carved Inside" was filmed at a fortress on the Danube River shores in Serbia and Romania. The video is described as "dark and full of fire".[3] The video has scenes of the sign carved on the stone reads "they are trying to bring us down."[4]
