Carts (2007), directed by Chris Cashman, premiered at The Valley Film Festival, where it won the "10 Degrees Hotter" Award for Best Feature Film.

Plot

A group of misfit shopping cart attendants deal with another day at their dead end jobs.

Production

Writer/director Cashman and his wife financed Carts on their credit cards.[1][2] It was filmed on a JVC GY-HD100U Pro HD camcorder.[2] It was filmed in a parking lot in Burbank, California over 15 days.[3]

Critical response

Film Threat scored it 3.5/5, calling it "a good start" for director Cashman.[4]
