Carter Hart (born August 13, 1998) is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender, currently playing junior hockey for the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League.

Playing career

In Hart's first career start, the 2014–15 WHL season opener at the age of 16, he recorded a 26-save shutout win over the Seattle Thunderbirds.[1] Hart finished his rookie season with a 18-5-2-3 record, a 2.29 goals against average and a .915 save percentage.[1]

Hart was part of the gold-medal winning Canadian team at the 2015 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.[2][3]

Hart is considered one of the top goaltender prospects in the 2016 National Hockey League Draft.[4] NHL Central Scouting named him the top available North American goaltender in their 2016 midterm rankings.[5]
