Carlos "Escorrega" Lemos, Jr. is a multiple world Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion and a third-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Carlos Gracie, Jr.[1]

Accomplishments

He has placed first in World Jiu-Jitsu Championship as a purple belt in 1999[2] and became Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion again as a black belt in 2002.[3] He also won and medaled in many Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling competitions, including multiple Brazilian National titles, a Pan-American title, a European title, three National American Grappling Association divisional titles[4] and one National Absolute title, an American National Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi championship and, most recently, was the Black Belt Absolute champion of the Chicago International Open IBJJF Championship.[5] He teaches out of Gracie Barra Downers Grove in Downers Grove, Illinois.
