Caribbean Cinemas is a chain of movie theaters in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.[1] It is the only major chain in Puerto Rico . The chain has expanded into Dominican Republic,[2] St. Thomas,[3] St. Maarten[4] St. Kitts,[5] St. Lucia,[6] Antigua,[7] Aruba[8] and Trinidad and Tobago.[9][10] Some of the cinemas, such as the Plaza Las Américas and Plaza Guaynabo theaters, have a theme, which are, in this case, the Old San Juan and a marine theme, respectively. The Plaza del Norte location, in Hatillo, is the first location to be renovated and reopened at a former CineVista location.
