Canischio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 289 and an area of 11.7 square kilometres (4.5 sq mi).[1]
Canischio borders the following municipalities: Sparone, Cuorgnè, Alpette, San Colombano Belmonte, Pratiglione, and Prascorsano.
