The Canadian Journal of Infectious Diseases & Medical Microbiology is a peer-reviewed medical journal. It is the official journal[1] of the Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease Canada and the Canadian Association for HIV Research (CAHR), for which it serves as the primary source of society guidelines.[2] It is published by Pulsus Group and covers all aspects of infectious diseases and medical microbiology.
In 2012, the journal moved from having been paid access to open access.[3] In February 2015, CAHR announced that it had signed an agreement with AMMI Canada and the Pulsus Group.[4]
According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2010 impact factor of 2.225.[5]
