Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health

CADTH is a national organization whose stated mission is to provide "Canada’s federal, provincial and territorial health care decision makers with credible, impartial advice and evidence-based information about the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of drugs and other health technologies". Before April 2006, CADTH was known as the Canadian Coordinating Office for Health Technology Assessment (CCOHTA).[1] CADTH celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2014.

Organization

CADTH is the home of several health technology assessment (HTA) programs and services, namely:

CADTH is funded by the federal, provincial and territorial governments, with the exception of Quebec.

CADTH also acts as secretariat for the following groups:

Location

The main offices of CADTH are located in Ottawa, Ontario. There is also an office in Edmonton, Alberta, and Toronto, Ontario. In addition, individual Liaison Officers are located in most provinces.
