- Tyler Wedel, winner of the NFL Take a Football Player to School contest. One of only four winners in Canada, Wedel brought Seattle Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant to school on April 1st 2010. Trufant spoke to the school's attendees about his childhood and inspirations to play in the NFL.
