California's 16th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California, centered in the Central Valley. It includes the cities of Fresno and Merced. The district is currently represented by Democrat Jim Costa.
From 2003 to 2013, the 16th district covered part of Santa Clara County and included much of central San Jose.
